We're a 1950's Rock'n'Roll/Jive Club now in our 25th year. Is there a longer running Rock 'n' Roll venue in the UK?
Founded in 1978,Sussex Rock 'n' Roll society's 50's style dance/jive club soon became so popular that a bigger venue had to be found, and in 1980, we renamed it 'SHOREHAM ROCK 'n' ROLL' and moved to the present location at the Shoreham Centre. There's a large dance floor, licensed bar, tea/coffee/snack bars, and record/CD, clothing and accessories stalls.
Once a month, a lively crowd of 50's music/dance lovers can be found enjoying the atmosphere of a bygone era. Each monthly Saturday evening features a 50's style Rock 'n' Roll band and record hop.
