Lin-D-Hops Around The Region

Lin-D-Hop has been 'hopping' (or should I say 'bopping') around the region, pen poised, since MBSN Issue 12, back in June 1998 when her first set of reviews appeared. I would think she was probably bopping around the region, minus the pen, long before that. I love her 'short 'n' sweet', down-to-earth, no-nonsense reviews and judging by all the comments I receive, so do my readers.

In addition to the reviews, Lin runs a 40s style clothing stall, making some of the clothing herself and can often be found assisting in various dance workshops around the region.

Home for Lin is Earl Shilton, near Hinckley in Leicestershire where she likes to potter about in her garden, when she has the time and make clothes for her Lin-D-Hop label.

Like me, Lin loves to dance, so much so that she organises regular 40s dances at Quorn in Leicestershire. Almost everyone enters into the spirit of a wartime dance and it's like stepping back in time when you attend one of these!

Swing, 40s Big Band and Western Swing are favourite musical choices, as you might expect but Lin is also very fond of the raw Rockabilly sound and likes nothing better than to be on the dance floor bopping with the best!
