Ken and I have been into Rock 'n' Roll for some 40 years. The club we run has been going three and a half years and we have at least three to four bands on in a year plus our Christmas party.
The club runs every two weeks and admission is £1.50. Our club is well attended, all nice people and very friendly. It has a very large stage (great for the bands) nice dance floor and drinks are very cheap.
We have a young, up and coming DJ, Keith who gives Ken a hand doing a spell on the decks so Ken can have a dance and mingle with our members. Keith is Ken's apprentice and he has shown him the ropes of DJ-ing. Now he has a club of his own and Ken gives him a hand.
We like to know our members birthdays so we can provide candles and cake and sing 'Happy Birthday'. New members are made welcome and a friendly chat with Ken or myself at the end of the night goes a long way. Feedback is important to us.
