Braunstone & District WMC, near Leicester has been running for well over 12 years now and has always been one of the most popular rock 'n' roll venues in the Midlands. Entrance is only £3 and being a working men's club, drinks are reasonably priced. It's a terrific venue with a huge sprung wooden dance floor and lots of comfortable seating on two levels. It runs every Tuesday evening with optional lessons from 7.30 - 8.30 courtesy of DJ Dancing' Dave after which Dave operates his rock 'n' roll disco until 11.15. It's an ideal place to go, particularly if you don't have a regular dancing partner - or even if you do as dancing is the main objective here.
Occasionally Dave & Vicky run a Saturday night here with a band which nearly always goes down well and is usually well attended.
